Welcome to our seventh annual All Access Screenwriting Competition, where you can choose to take advantage of an extraordinary opportunity for talented screenwriters to open the door to Hollywood and its dealmakers.

We asked writers what they really wanted from a screenwriting competition and the response was overwhelming: ACCESS TO HOLLYWOOD.

We've taken this a step further to give THREE WINNERS unprecedented levels of industry exposure and access, plus some cool prizes and cash on top.

There are also plenty of other opportunities and prizes to go around, with five finalist prize packages and random entry prizes. There's a lot of stuff just waiting to be won:

Winners Prizes

Industry Exposure and Access

Each of our three Winners will receive the following industry exposure and access:

  • Hollywood Submission - your screenplay synopsis is submitted to 30 participating companies that have already requested our top three Winners. See a full list of companies here. Aspiring screenwriters can often only dream about getting their work into these hands. Here's your opportunity to be considered for option and/or representation.

Why do we send a synopsis out and not the full screenplay? It's much easier for an executive to read 2-3 pages of a synopsis and you get a chance to get your whole story across without worrying that they will put it to one side after page 30 without finishing it! We will work with you to provide an industry ready synopsis so that your work will look exciting and professional. If your synopsis is received well, then we will also take care of getting your screenplay out once it is requested, including all professional copying and mailing fees.

  • The Hollywood Bugle - a special edition of our Hollywood newsletter, which is received by 2,142 studios, production companies, execs & managers will be dedicated to our top three winners and five finalists.

  • Writer's Rolodex - You'll receive a free six month subscription to our Writer's Rolodex, which contains contact information for 3,899 industry companies. Additionally, the Rolodex contains a 'my contacts' section allowing you to save your favorite companies and track submissions you've made.

  • The Script Marketplace - a free twelve- month listing for your screenplay. Interested industry parties can access our password protected Marketplace where they are able to view details of your screenplay, read your logline and synopsis and contact you. Your listing will have its winning status promoted with a special highlighted banner in order to help it stand out from the crowd.

  • Competition Page - in addition to the Script Marketplace, your info will be listed on our special Competition Winners Page. We will post your picture, biography, screenplay title and logline plus any news concerning you and your screenplay's success.
Cash Prizes

  • First Place Winner: A cash prize of $2,000.00 (Two Thousand Dollars)
  • Second Place Winner: A cash prize of $300.00 (Three Hundred Dollars)
  • Third Place Winner: A cash prize of $100.00 (One Hundred Dollars)
Finalist Prize Package

Each of our five Finalists will receive the following prizes:

  • Script Express - it's the fastest and most comprehensive e-query service available. We will take your query and express it into the direct e-mail inboxes of 3,766 industry professionals, comprising studios, production companies and independent producers, plus 1,688 agents and managers. All responses are directed to your own e-mail inbox so that you may track and submit your screenplay to interested parties.

  • Writer's Rolodex - You'll receive a free six month subscription to our Writer's Rolodex, which contains contact information for 3,899 industry companies. Additionally, the Rolodex contains a 'my contacts' section allowing you to save your favorite companies and track submissions you've made.

  • The Script Marketplace - a free six- month listing for your screenplay. Interested industry parties can access our password protected Marketplace where they are able to view details of your screenplay, read your logline and synopsis and contact you. Your listing will have its finalist status promoted with a special highlighted banner in order to help it stand out from the crowd. You will be able to access, track and edit your listing for the best possible results.

  • The Hollywood Bugle - a special edition of our Hollywood newsletter, which is received by 2,142 studios, production companies, execs & managers will be dedicated to our five finalists and top three winners.
